Trees supplies two essentials for Human life – Oxygen and Food. They provide other necessities such as medicines, wood, and shelter for animals and birds etc.  Forest and agro forest are the most natural and effective ways of natural oxygen supply for the human being.

Trees reduce the carbon footprint. As per a scientific report a mature tree consumes up to 48 pounds of carbon dioxide a year. Trees prevent soil erosion by slowing down and absorbing the rain water.  Also with the constantly rising temperatures and new heat records being set every coming year, trees cool the earth through evaporation. Hence, trees are much cheaper method of climate change mitigation as compare to others. Planting trees is easy for the locals to invest in them and so far achieved lot of success.
