Ummid Foundation - Hope for Human, in collaboration with M/S Rockwell Automation India Pvt. Ltd., presents this project proposal to enhance the educational infrastructure in 12 remote rural schools in Delhi/NCR.

The initiative is focused on creating a conducive learning environment through the following activities:

Establishment Smart Class (Installation of Digital Smart Screen): The project seeks to equip schools with modern smart classrooms, integrating digital technology to improve the quality of teaching and foster interactive learning experiences.

Safe Drinking Water Facility: (Installation of Water Cooler & RO): Ensuring access to safe drinking water is a priority for the schools. The project will install reliable water filtration systems, promote students' health and reduce the risk of water-borne diseases.

Renovation of School Toilets/Boundary Wall & Classroom Whitewash: Recognising the importance of hygiene and sanitation, the project will renovate and upgrade the existing school toilets, ensuring safe and clean facilities for students.

Menstrual Hygiene Essential and Supporting: (Installation of Manual Sanitary Napkin Vending Machines). In collaboration with health professionals, menstrual hygiene awareness training sessions will be conducted to educate students on personal hygiene practices. This will help in fostering a healthy environment within the schools.  The Ummid Foundation will also provide basic hygiene products, such as sanitary pads (for 6 months), Hand sanitizers, hand wash, and basic hygiene supplies.
