Elementary Education / Enabling Educational Infrastructure in Rural Schools in Delhi NCR.

Establishment of Smart Classes: The project seeks to equip schools with modern smart classrooms, integrating digital technology to improve the quality of teaching and foster interactive learning experiences.

Renovation of School Toilets: Recognizing the importance of hygiene and sanitation, the project will renovate and upgrade the existing school toilets, ensuring safe and clean facilities for students.

Safe Drinking Water Facility: Ensuring access to safe drinking water is a priority for the schools. The project will install reliable water filtration systems, promoting students' health and reducing the risk of water-borne diseases.

Hygiene Training Programs: In collaboration with health professionals, hygiene training sessions will be conducted to educate students on personal hygiene practices. This will help in fostering a healthy environment within the schools.  The Ummid Foundation will also provide basic hygiene products like automatic sanitizer machine, sanitary pads, hand wash etc. at schools.

Through these interventions, the project envisions transforming the selected schools into hubs of quality education, ensuring that students receive holistic support that encompasses academic, infrastructural, and health-related needs. The initiative aligns with the broader goal of empowering rural communities by enhancing the educational ecosystem and promoting long-term sustainable development.
